Our Mission
Our doctors have performed thousands of successful Foot and Ankle surgeries with great outcomes and attend multiple yearly conferences and courses to keep up to date with the latest surgical techniques and products available in Foot and Ankle Surgery. Our Doctors at West Side Podiatry work with State of the Art Rehabilitation facilities in the Greater Houston area to provide quick recovery from Surgery and have you return to your normal activities significantly faster than conventional Foot and Ankle Surgery. State of the Art Imaging modalities such as Digital X-ray, Ultrasound and Vascular studies are available on request for your convenience.
Our world renowned surgeons at West Side Podiatry have expertise in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, pediatric orthopedics, bunions, hammertoes, cosmetic foot surgery, sports medicine and injuries, diabetic wounds and limb salvage. Janey
Janey is Dr. Gunther’s right hand person. She has been Dr. Gunther’s podiatric medical assistant for over 12 years. Janey is our head medical assistant in charge. She is relied upon to make sure our patients have everything they need during their appointment. Janey assists Dr. Gunther with skin grafting for wound care, in office surgeries, and scanning Dr. Gunther’s patients for their custom orthotics. Janey also holds years of training experience with our Laser Nail Restoration, which is for the treatment for nail fungus. She also holds years of experience with Shockwave Therapy treatments, which is a non-invasive treatment for plantar fasciitis. Janey is also our head licesnsed x-ray tech. She can answer any questions you may have regarding the two. She can offer you a consultation and/or treatment of either. In Janey’s spare time, she lives out her passion for caring for and playing with her young children. She is a great mother and is always there for her children in all the sports and activities they are involved in. Janey also has 2 favorite quotes: “Do small things with great love” and “Be strong when you are weak, be brave when you are scared, be humble when you are victorious, and be a bad _everyday”.
