Dr. Arash Hassid is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon who has been in practice for over 9 years. He is an associate of Tower Podiatry, a Foot and Ankle Surgical Institute at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers and he is on staff with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Providence Tarzana Medical Center and local Surgery Centers in the Beverly Hills and Encino area.
He is a member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and Board Certified in Foot Surgery with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He completed a three year comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at the Veterans Administration Program, West Los Angeles and UCLA, Olive View Medical Center. Prior to his residency program, he completed his medical studies at the California School of Podiatric Medicine, Samuel Merritt College. Dr. Hassid received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychobiology from the University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Hassid’s involvement in the community stems from his passion for teaching and educating the public about foot and ankle ailments. He has been involved with multiple events such as radio interviews, local foot screenings, newspaper articles and public lectures. He has conducted research on multiple imaging modalities to predict risk of ulceration in Diabetics and to prevent future amputations. In addition to his private practice in Cedars Sinai Medical Towers and Encino, he is also currently working with a state-of-the-art wound care facilities in the Greater Los Angeles area utilizing the latest wound care products and Hyperbaric Chambers. Dr. Hassid is also involved with Antelope Valley Community Clinic in the Lancaster area, serving the low income and uninsured population. Dr. Hassid is interested in full spectrum foot and ankle practice including foot and ankle trauma, limb salvage, Pediatrics, arthroscopy, laser therapy with emphasis on minimally invasive forefoot and hindfoot reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Hassid is always involved with furthering his education by attending courses through out the year that emphasize learning the newest and most technologically advanced Medical & Surgical treatments of the Foot & Ankle. Dr. Hassid enjoys hiking, traveling, watching movies and spending time with friends and family in his spare time.
